I know the VP said not to spend much time on the project, but I take pride in my work, always go the extra mile and really wanted the job. Over the next few days, I played around with the dataset in Excel and Tableau, in the evenings after my full-time job, and spent quite a bit of time analyzing and putting my insights into slides. He said I really didn’t need to spend much time on it and that I would present my results to a panel comprised of him, his boss and the Senior Marketing Analyst, who had administered the SQL test. He answered several questions I had and told me I could present my insights in any form I wanted…slides, Excel…it didn’t matter. I met with the VP again, and we reviewed a dataset he wanted me to analyze. I’ve already taken a SQL test, and this would be my 4th interview, not counting the “no-show”. After the interview, I was told I would be meeting again with VP to discuss a project / presentation they wanted me to do.Īt this point, we are 3 weeks into the process. Really enjoyed getting to talk about actual challenges facing the dept and ways my experience could benefit the company. I passed the SQL test and was invited to speak with another Marketing executive. I responded orally to SQL questions and provided a separate written response later in the day. We had a good chat, and she administered a SQL test (I had no warning before that there would be a test). Had virtual interview with VP a few days later, and it went well, so they set up a call with an existing Senior Marketing Analyst a few days later. Recruiter told me after that, that he had to start his paternity leave, and that she would be in touch with day / time to talk to the VP. Unfortunately I waited on call and hiring manager didn’t show. I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Divvy in Jul 2022 InterviewĪpplied for job in June 2022 and received email from recruiter July 1 requesting my availability for a virtual interview with hiring manager. ![]()
